Celebrating 110 Years of Service in the Greater Milwaukee Community
Since 1915, the Junior League of Milwaukee has brought together women committed to improving the lives of children and families across our region. Over the last eleven decades, League members have helped establish cornerstone organizations such as Versiti (formerly the Blood Center of Wisconsin), Curative Care Network, and Penfield Children’s Center — shaping Milwaukee’s health and human services landscape in lasting ways.
Our 110th Anniversary Celebration is both a reflection on what has been accomplished and a recommitment to the work ahead. It is an opportunity to recognize the women, partners, and supporters who make meaningful change possible.

The Junior League of Milwaukee thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, Barbara Bush, Head of Social Responsibility for the NBA.
We’re excited to welcome Barbara as our speaker because of her deep commitment to improving the lives of those in need, and her drive to confront the myriad of health equity challenges that millions face around the world. Over the last eleven decades, Junior League of Milwaukee members have worked to address health needs in the Greater Milwaukee area through founding the Blood Center of Wisconsin (now Versiti), Curative Care Network, and Penfield Children’s Center.
Barbara is committed to connecting her story in a way that brings awareness to the work being done right here in Milwaukee to support women and children in need. Our missions are aligned, and Barbara will help the League celebrate 110 years of community impact, while anticipating the work within our community still to come over the next 110 years.

DJ Shawna will bring her signature energy as emcee and moderator for our 110th Anniversary Celebration, helping set the tone for an engaging, meaningful conversation as we welcome our featured speaker, Barbara Pierce Bush.
