About the Giving Campaign
Our journey at the Junior League of Milwaukee is marked by many transformative programs that have become pillars in the Milwaukee community. Examples of our legacy Initiatives are the Confidential Exchange, which laid the foundation for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee, and the Junior League Curative Workshop, now known as the Curative Care Network, highlight our trailblazing impact. We’re also proud of our role in establishing the Blood Center of Wisconsin, today recognized as Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin. Your support can help us continue this legacy of creating enduring institutions that make a real difference in our community.

Helping Women and Children
The Junior League of Milwaukee selected Aurora’s Safe Home Environment “SHE” as its centennial community partner in 2016 and contributed $100,000 to aid mothers and children in need. This partnership allowed the Aurora Abuse Response program Safe Mom, Safe Baby to add safe housing at Mercy Housing’s St. Catherine Residence to its wrap-around services for expectant mothers threatened by domestic violence.
With your support, we aim to broaden our reach and deepen our impact across Milwaukee, alongside other valued partners such as Kids Matter, Penfield Children’s Center, and many others.
Your support to the Annual Giving Campaign will allow us to continue to serve women and children in our community.
Our Annual Appeal offers three ways for you to support:
Community Fund: Your gift supports education, health, and nutrition of women and children in the Greater Milwaukee area (e.g., Winter Wonderland, Done-in-a-Day, JLM Singers, etc.) including funding for Done-in-a-Day events, grants and donations to other charitable organizations in Greater Milwaukee.
Greatest Need Fund: Your gift supports our mission to develop women, promote voluntarism and to improve the Greater Milwaukee area. Covers membership training and development & operational costs, offering the greatest flexibility.
Endowment Fund: Your gift strengthens the long-term sustainability of the League. Contributes to our irrevocable endowment which provides an annual distribution to fund the League’s educational and charitable mission.
